Where can I watch CSBN broadcasts?CSBN broadcasts can be watched live on FloSports or on our YouTube, CSBN Live, where broadcasts will be uploaded 72 hours after the game concludes. Note: Chapman Men's Lacrosse is not broadcasted on FloSports and can be watched live via Youtube.

Do I have to pay to watch CSBN broadcasts?Watching CSBN broadcasts live on FloSports requires a paid subscription. These broadcasts will be uploaded to CSBN's Youtube 72 hours after they conclude.

What division are Chapman Sports categorized in?Chapman sports are categorized as NCAA Division 3 sports. However, Chapman Men's Lacrosse is a club sport and is categorized as an MCLA Division 1 sport.

How long are CSBN broadcasts?Generally, CSBN broadcasts can last up to 2 or 3 hours, depending on the sport being broadcasted.

What positions are available in CSBN?There is a wide range of positions available in CSBN. On-camera positions include play-by-play commentator, color commentator, and sideline reporter. Control room positions include producer, director, technical director, audio, graphics, replay, and more. Field positions include camera operator, sideline PA, social media, stage manager, and spotter.

How much time do I need to dedicate to CSBN?You can dedicate as much or as little time as you want towards CSBN. Club meetings and broadcasts are completely voluntary, so you can participate at your convenience.

Are there different levels of broadcasts?CSBN broadcasts are divided into tier 1, 2, and 3/4. Tier 1 broadcasts have the highest level of production with a large crew, the usage of a control room, and contain $1 million+ worth of broadcast equipment. Tier 2 broadcasts have a moderate level of production with about a dozen crew members and the usage of some high-end broadcast equipment. Tier 3/4 broadcasts are the lowest level of production with only a few crew members and minimal equipment.

When do broadcasts take place?CSBN broadcasts during the fall and spring seasons. Tier 1 broadcasts happen on the weekends, while tier 3/4 broadcasts happen during the week. Tier 2 broadcasts usually happen during interterm throughout the week.

When are CSBN meetings held?CSBN meetings are held on Tuesdays at 10 PM at Marion Knott Studios in room 111.

What does a CSBN meeting entail?Led by the executive board, CSBN meetings entail broadcast reviews, upcoming broadcast details, announcements, broadcast position training, sports training, and guest speakers. Club outings are occasionally held after meetings conclude.
